Dear Jenny,
Thank you for asking such a beautiful and powerful question. Simply framing a question in a way that asks for your highest good and the highest good of others is, in itself, a powerful call to your Angels for answers. You also place yourself in a higher state of consciousness by asking your question in this way and that brings you closer to the presence of your Angels.
From your Guardian Angels;
“Jenny, we are here with you to help you do just what you ask: to help clarify, strengthen and express the gifts of your soul. We were with you when you were a soul in heaven when you selected your gifts. Your most important gifts are your abilities, qualities and the very nature of your soul. You can easily identify your gifts – they bring you joy when you engage in them, think about them, talk about them and share them with others.
“Expressing your gifts allows them to grow. Each time you give one of your gifts, you refine and develop your skill and ability to more completely create and share your gift. Each gift that your soul carries requires attention, care, appreciation, nurturing, development and expression. Think of one of your gifts as a seed – a seed of your soul – that you have carried to earth to plant, sprout, nurture and tend.
“When you begin to express a gift, it is just like a new seed and needs tender care and careful attention to insure that it gets the proper soil, nutrients, water, light and all other conditions needed for its’ initial growth. Once it has taken root, it requires another period of gentle care to become established and grow strong. It is not until later that its’ roots are established and it is ready to flower and bear fruit.
“You are asked to be patient and to care for and develop your gifts. Don’t ask them to grow too quickly or bear fruit until they are ready. Forcing a gift is like forcing a hot house flower to bloom before it is ready – you have seen these flowers forced to bloom for markets but they often die soon after their first bloom. Their roots, soil, the chemicals that force the bloom, and other conditions were not natural and could not sustain the bloom. You have also seen this with artists, musicians and others that try to force too much of their gifts too soon, too often, or too aggressively. The gift withers and only recovers with rest, replenishment and refreshing care.
“We promise that your gifts will grow stronger and stronger with care, tender attention, appreciation and practice. Every time you express your gifts, you grow stronger and your gifts become more powerful. Trust this process.”
“Please take a few minutes each day for meditation or prayer – call upon us – this can be as simple as “Oh Guardian Angels, help me to express my gifts. Remind me of the power of my soul’s intention to come to earth for this purpose! Guide me to see, hear, feel, know and sense in all ways the nature, power, clarity and love that my gifts carry. Guide me to care for my gifts and to express them with joy.”

Your Angels want you to know that you are in a dance of divine timing with the expression of your gifts. The more you practice expressing them, the faster you will learn the dance and move up to higher levels. They would like you to make a list of your Soul’s gifts – these are the qualities you see as your best points, the abilities that come naturally to and that bring you joy. Contemplate this list, let your intuition guide you as to which to focus on right now and which to work with later. Approach this as you would tend a garden – some plants are grown and strong, some are seedlings, some are in the middle phase of growth and some are seeds. Get very clear about the right level of attention and kind of care for each of your primary gifts.
Like plants in a garden, some of your gifts compliment each other when grouped together. Get clear about which gifts naturally grow together and support one another. Which gift is like a shade tree? Which is like rosebush? Which is a fruit tree? Which are seasonal like carrots or melons?
You Angels emphasize this garden metaphor in getting clarity and caring for your gifts. They want you realize that this is the garden of your life and you get to choose what to plant, tend and care for. They assure you that you will have ample flowers and fruits (and vegetables!) in divine time with the proper care.
They also want you to know that you have the resources you need right now to get back into the garden! Don’t delay and also don’t push. You wouldn’t try to push or pull a seedling to get it to grow faster, right? Remember that the sun, rain, wind, moon and stars provide most of what the plants need and be careful where you invest your energy and attention. Ask your Angels for help with guidance daily.
Develop your own relationship with your gifts – learn to bring joy to them and let them bring joy to you! There is deep truth in your souls that sings “From joy I come, for joy I live, to joy I go.” As you increase your own joy and love of your gifts, you create a power magnetic attraction that helps bring to you the resources, opportunities, synchronicities, people and places that will help you gifts to grow.
You heard the advice, “Don’t work harder, work smarter.” For you, kick this up a notch in consciousness to “Don’t work harder, work more joyfully.”
Remember that joy attracts happy and joyful people and people that want more joy and happiness. Choosing and intending joy, even when it is not strongly present, opens our mind, heart, body and spirit to the possibility of new joy and creates the opening to experience new joy.
